THIS year’s Mini London Marathon has a new look with the event taking place on the Saturday, 24 hours before the main event.
Once again the North East will be involved this weekend under the guidance of team managers Tommy Millmore, Gary Curtis, Ed Lown, Lynn Cooper, Carole Ward and Chloe Price.
The under-13 girls squad includes Birtley trio Olivia Murphy and twins Kitty and Nell Graham who were gold medalists at last weekend’s Northern Athletics Road Relay Championships while the under-17 men’s team includes two of the Morpeth trio who also topped the podium in Manchester, Ryan Davies and William DeVere-Owen.
